ICT-based learning: opportunities for higher education learning and teaching

Following the event, HEREs members disseminated the information gained at the seminar through a series of interventions during meetings with local universities or by organizing a round table with the participation of Students Alliance Member Organizations. The presentations were focused on the main outcomes of the seminar in Petra:

  • current trends in terms of e-learning types, approaches and use;
  • examples of institutional strategies regarding the use of e-learning and its role in the development of the teaching and learning process, including e-learning impact on the staff (both teachers and researchers), students, infrastructure and management;
  • different approaches of introducing e-learning in the national context, considering the existing national regulations, e.g. with regard to recognition and quality assurance.
