The novelties of 2018’s Erasmus+ Call for Proposals, presented in an informative seminar in Chișinău

National Erasmus+ Office is continuing the Information day Campaign with a series of meetings with the university staff, where is presenting the Erasmus+ opportunities and the novelties of 2018 Call for Proposals.

The annual campaign is representing the meeting point between the Erasmus+ Programme and the interested people in the transforming the higher education in the Republic of Moldova through the international projects.

The internationalization, modernization, and sustainable development are promoted by Erasmus+ Programme since 30 years in all over the world.

The seminar held on the 26th of October at Moldova State University had an interactive approach, where the audience was not just informed but also involved in sharing their experience in building partnerships and managing academic mobilities for study, training or teaching.

The relevance of the topic, the quality of content, the project team are among the main aspects which will be taken in the consideration in a project proposal, the NEO Moldova coordinator, Claudia Melinte has mentioned.

In the same time, the future project will be guided by the new national and regional priorities in the field of higher education: Curriculum development, Improving management and Operation of Higher Education Institutions, Developing the Higher Education Sector within Society at Large, which were presented by the head of the Higher Education Direction of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research Nadejda Velișco.

Also, for an efficient identification of the relevant partners’ in the mobility projects in high education were recommended in the framework of a workshop, held by the representatives of the National Agency for Community Programs in Education and Training (ANPCDEFP) from Romania, Nicoleta Popa and Simona Alexianu, the translation of the study programmes on the universities’ sites, the good use of the staff mobilities in the building of new partnerships, participation at the international conferences, seminars, exhibitions in the high education domain.

Similar events will take place, during this November at the Universities from Bălți, Cahul, and Comrat.

According to the 2017’s selection results, the Republic of Moldova is awarded to benefit from 506 academic mobilities for students and teachers, four Capacity Building Projects and a Jean Monnet project.

Information Day is an annual informational campaign held by National Erasmus+ Office in the Republic of Moldova which aims to present the Erasmus+ Program’s opportunities among the Moldovan students, young professionals, and university staff and also to promote the internationalization of studies, mobilities, and exchanges of experience.
