The results of the KA2 Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) projects (Selection 2018) are now published

The Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) of the European Commission has published the results of the KA2 Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) projects under 2018 Call for Proposals.

According to EACEA, for the Republic of Moldova have been selected to be funded two Structural* CBHE projects:

  • Towards European University Lifelong Learning Model in Moldova.
  • Strengthening Research Management and Open Science capacities of HEIs in Moldova and Armenia.

The applicant in case of both projects and the main projects’ coordinator is The Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova (ASEM).

In 2018, have been applied 31 project proposals involving Moldovan HEIs.

Globally, this year 874 project have been applied, from which – 147 have been recommended for EU funding, of which 133 are Joint Projects and 14 Structural Projects.

În the frame of the Erasmus+ Programme, the Republic of Moldova is part of the Region 2 – Eastern Partnership (EaP).

*Structural Projects are aimed at producing an impact on higher education systems and promoting reforms at national and/or regional level in the eligible Partner Countries.
