The fourth edition of Erasmus Days Campaign was a success on the international level, involving for the first time ever a record number of more than 80 countries and 5000 events dedicated to Erasmus+ program activities. The Republic of Moldova has had a special place reserved on the map of Erasmus Days events, while the Erasmus+ Office in Moldova has organized on October 15-16 two online sessions with the topic “Erasmus Days: projects, opportunities, Challenges” in the frames of the given campaign.
The first day was dedicated to the presentation of Capacity Building in Higher Education projects, from 2020 selection, such as: 1. CONNECT (Connecting universities - industry through smart entrepreneurial cooperation and competitive intelligence of students in Moldova, Georgia and Armenia); 2. COOPERA (Integrating Dual Higher Education In Moldova and Ukraine); 3. QFORTE (Enhancement of Quality Assurance in Higher Education System in Moldova); 4. WBL4JOB (Introducing work-based learning in higher education systems of Armenia and Moldova for better employability of graduates).
On the second campaign day – October 16, Jean Monnet Action winning projects from 2020 selection were presented, in particular: 1. EU Economic Diplomacy as an Instrument of Foreign Policy Action; 2. Jean Monnet Chair in EU Studies and Migration; 3. European Union: The Comprehensive Notion; 4. Horizons of Moldova’s European Union Integration: Realities and Perspectives.
About 200 participants were present at the online events organized by Erasmus+ Office in Moldova, including academic and administrative staff from 17 higher education institutions from Moldova, as well as representatives from The Ministry of Education, Culture and Research, from the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education and Research etc.
