On July 2, 2026, at the premises of the National Erasmus+ Office of Moldova, the reunion of the International Relations Departments of higher education institutions in Moldova was held. During it, we discussed and analyzed recent developments and future prospects of international partnerships within the Erasmus+ programme.
During the meeting, the participants addressed the following topics:
- Partnerships of universities in the Republic of Moldova within international mobility projects for students and higher education staff (KA-171, KA-131), implemented in the period 2021-2026.
- Management of Key Action 2, Jean Monnet, etc. projects, from the perspective of the International Relations Departments of Moldovan HEIs, cooperation with institutional/national project coordinators.
- Visibility of Erasmus+ projects: communication, dissemination of results, visual identity and logos.
- ERASMUS+ News: 35 Programme Countries in the Erasmus+ 2027 call.
- Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE).
- EURYDICE in Moldova – objectives, achievements and perspectives.
- Discussions on the topics addressed during the seminar (Technical Assistance Mission “From local to global: Promoting the internationalisation of higher education in the Republic of Moldova” on April 22, 2026.
- Institutional support for project implementation – exchange of experiences and good practices.
The event aimed to become a platform for sharing experiences, but also to emphasize the role of international relations departments in the internationalisation, modernization and adaptability of higher education in Moldova.
