National Erasmus+ Office in Moldova has launched on Thursday, 14th of September, a national awareness campaign „Information Day” dedicated to the young people interested in the Erasmus+ program opportunities.
At the event, held at the State University of Moldova, have participated around 250 of students from the higher education institution from Chisinau.
As guests have participated the representatives of EU Delegation to the Republic of Moldova, Ministry of Education, Culture and Research, and The State University of Moldova.
In the context of informational campaign, the youth had received details on the International Credit Mobility opportunities. Through ICM mobilities, students from our country at the License, Master or Doctorate level, can study up to 12 mounts in the European Universities. For the students from the medical faculties this term is up to 24 mounts.
In 2017, for the Republic of Moldova were allocated 506 mobilities for students, teachers, and university staff. In the three selections, held until now, around 1300 of mobilities were offered for the Republic of Moldova in biennial projects.
In the same time, event’s attendants found out the possibilities to benefit from the Joint Master Degree (JMD) programs offered by the consortiums of universities. Through JMD programs students from all over the world can study at least in three universities from different European countries.
Also, during the meeting were offered details on the research scholarship attainment in the frame of Marie Curie Actions, Horizon 2020 program, and presented other opportunities for active young people available in the Erasmus+ Youth section.
The National Eramsus+ Office in Moldova team will continue the meetings with the students at universities in Balti, on 5th of October, Comrat and Cahul on 18th of October.
Information Day is an annual informational campaign hold by National Erasmus+ Office in the Republic of Moldova which aims to present the Erasmus+ Program’s opportunities among the Moldovan students and young professionals and also to promote the internationalization of studies, mobilities, and exchanges of experience.
