We remind you that the new Erasmus+ programme’s budget is €26.2 billion, compared with €14.7 billion for 2014-2020. This will be complemented by about €2.2 billion from the EU’s external instruments. It is an almost double budget compared to the one of €14.7 euro from the previous 2014-2020 edition. Therefore the new and revamped programme will fund learning mobility and cross-border cooperation projects for 10 million beneficiaries of all ages. It also aims to become more inclusive and to support the green and digital transitions. Erasmus+ will also support the resilience of education and training systems in the face of the pandemic.
Throughout the previous 2014-2020 edition of Erasmus+ Programme, the higher education institutions from Moldova have already succeeded to implement:
21 Capacity Building for Higher Education projects; 22 Jean Monnet projects; more than 600 International Credit Mobility projects; more than 3600 academic mobilities between the universities from Moldova and EU for students and academic staff; 30 Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree scholarships for participants from Moldova.
