The National Erasmus+ Office has attended, on June 4, at the State University of Moldova, the launching of the first interuniversity educational centre in the field of the drone in the Republic of Moldova, “Office for Education for Drones” (OED), equipped with the modern study equipment for drone piloting, as well as the national certification of the drones.
The UAV laboratory is part of the “eDrone – Education for Drone” project, co-financed by the European Union through the Erasmus+ KA2 Capacity Building (CBHE).
The project is coordinated by the Unisannio University (Italy) and includes partners from Moldova, Armenia, Belarus, and Georgia.
In the same day, has been started the first course for the training of the trainers, which will deliver further their knowledge to the students interested in this branch.
The NEO representatives in Moldova have expressed, during the event, the entire support for the successful activities of this innovative CBHE project for the higher education in Moldova and interuniversity synergies which can be deepened during the project.
The aim of eDrone project is to define a learning environment to deliver more opportunities to access new competencies related to the use of drone technologies in professional activities. These new competencies refer in particular to the use of advanced ICT solutions for the use of drones and of the data acquired through drones in order to diversify the professional competences of the young people.
