The European Commission has presented the closed International Credit Mobility projects’ results, selected under call 2015. The projects lasted for two years until July 31, 2017.
According to the results, the Republic Moldova has realized 320 mobilities, being the only country in the Eastern Partnership which had overcome the planned number (311) - the uptake rate is 103%. In the other EaP countries, this rate is between 90 and 100%.
Likewise, in the assessed period, over 160 Moldovan students have benefited from the academic mobilities in the European universities under the Erasmus+ Programme.
In the same time, around 120 university staff from our country have accomplished teaching or training mobilities in the Erasmus+ Programme countries’ universities.
The data shows that during the two years of implementation of the first ICM call (2015), around 40 university staff from Europe have realised international academic mobilities to the Moldovan universities, supported by the EU Programme Erasmus+, for teaching or training activities.
At the global level, projects selected in 2015 supported the mobility of over 26,200 individual students and staff between Programme and Partner Countries* (of which roughly 70% are incoming to Programme Countries*). 53% of the mobilities have been realised by women and 47% by men. The ratio of student to staff is about 50/50. The total rate of mobility absorption represents 89%.
