Six new capacity-building in the field of youth projects with the particitation of youth organisations from the Republic of Moldova were proposed for funding in 2024. In total there are 37 CB Youth projects which have been selected under the 2024 Erasmus+ call for proposals.
Capacity-building in the field of youth projects are international cooperation projects based on multilateral partnerships between organisations active in the field of youth. They run between organisations which are based in the EU and Erasmus+ countries and organisations in non-EU countries not associated to the Programme.
This year, funding for non-EU countries in CB Youth projects focuses exclusively on countries neighbouring the EU, in the Western Balkans, the Neighbourhood East and the Southern Mediterranean.
The primary goal of such projects is to raise the capacity of organisations working with young people outside formal learning in the target countries. This includes promoting non-formal learning activities like clubs or community groups, especially in organisations working with young people with fewer opportunities. Projects also aim to get young people more involved in society, giving them new competences and opportunities to act. Another main goal is to support youth work development and improve its quality and recognition.
Over €10 million have been allocated to the 37 projects selected in the 2024 call for proposals.
